The 2nd annual GAIN meeting was a 1.5-day multidisciplinary event held in June 2018 at the King’s Fund, London. The GAIN 2018 programme was designed to advance the management of invasive fungal disease in critically ill patients through interactive lectures, workshops and debates, led by both academic and clinical experts.
Day 1 was situated around an evidence-based patient case study and invited discussion from multidisciplinary perspectives to optimise patient outcomes. This day ended with a formal dinner with the GAIN Steering Committee.
Day 2 focused on the key topics and issues discussed on day 1 to drive the sharing of knowledge and best practice.
