The inaugural GAIN meeting took place in September 2017 at the King’s Fund. GAIN 2017 combined interactive lectures, workshops, and debate sessions on subjects such as combatting emerging fungal pathogens and resistant organisms, fungal infections in vulnerable populations and antifungal stewardship.
